Position Description:

Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialisation to develop simple applications solutions.

Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Need to Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.

Need to involve more in Support activities.

Need to Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.

Need to Prepare Root Cause Analysis for all issues.

Need to Provide permanent solutions for recurring errors.

Need to Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.

Document functional designs, test cases and results.

Responsible for overall deliveries.

Co-ordination with team.

Need to train business and end users.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Typically holds any graduate degree from a recognized school.

Will be responsible for implementing and supporting SD module in projects/support

Will be responsible for understanding the requirements directly from client and presenting multiple solution designs

Will have to closely work with technical folks in solution designing, development, testing and deployment tasks

Will be responsible for mentoring junior folks

Will have to involve and contribute in POCs or new competency building initiatives

Skills:

General Languages: C#, C++, C, Assembly, Lisp, Skill, Pascal, FORTRAN, COBOL, Tcl/Tk, Tix, Perl, Python, Swig, shell scripting, SAP and more

Web Technologies:.NET, XML, HTML, CGI, Java, JSP, J2EE, J2ME, ASP, VBS, Web Servers, Mail Servers, Firewalls, IIS, Apache, Qmail, Tomcat, mySQL, and more

Database Engines& APIs: ODBC, JDBC, SQL, Oracle, Access, Paradox, Delphi, dBase, CodeBase, SWIG, and more
