Job Description
NVIDIA is looking to hire a Compiler Engineer with strong compiler optimization background for its GPU Compiler group at Pune/Bangalore. The work involves development of compiler features and optimizations for current and future GPU architectures and support for newer language and architectural features that increase the scope of GPU Computing. You will be a dynamic go-getter ready to work solo as well as with a elite team to deliver winning solutions ahead of time. You will have superb programming skills and good understanding of processor architecture and compiler optimization. Prior knowledge of GPU compilers or GPU architecture is a plus but not a pre requisite.


NVIDIA GPUs today power gaming platforms like SHIELD TV, latest gaming consoles, Deep Learning within Data Centres and is key to rapidly evolving field of self-driving cars with products such as Drive PX and Drive CX. NVIDIAs GPU Compiler technology is critical in success of all these exciting segments. What we need to see:

BS/MS in Computer Science with significant compiler related project/thesis work
Exposure to any one industry class compiler infrastructure such LLVM or GCC
Knowledge of any one of the following areas : register allocation, instruction scheduling, program analysis, high level machine independent optimizations.
Good understanding of at least one processor architecture including its performance characteristics
Superb analytical and C/C++ programming skills
